Our bespoke, supply only alcove cabinets, built-in units, wardrobes, media units, bookcases, floating shelves, and cabinet doors are designed to fit your space perfectly and at an affordable price. Our cabinets start from £400 and £600 for a double alcove wardrobe.
How do we keep our prices low?
Our prices are competitive as there’s no site visit (send us a photo instead) and you do the fitting and painting. Or, if you prefer, employ a local carpenter to install and still save lots of money!
We don’t have expensive high street stores, salespeople, or glossy brochures to inflate our prices. Our online price calculators provide a clear, simple, and transparent price with no surprises!
How does it work?
Designing your own bespoke alcove cabinets or fitted alcove wardrobe couldn’t be easier. Simply visit one of our price calculators and select the desired features, provide dimensions, upload a photo of your space and you’ll get an instant online quote. For fitted or freestanding media units, bookcases, non-alcove wardrobes and all other cabinetry requirements upload a simple sketch or drawing, dimensions and a picture of your space via our enquiry form. We will get back to you within 24 hours (normally much sooner) with a quote.
We’ll call you back to finalise your design and upon order send a scaled drawing in plan view and front elevation for your approval.
A few weeks later we’ll deliver your pre-cut, pre-drilled, made-to-measure furniture pieces in flatpack format with everything you need including a step-by-step fitting sequence.
Our fitted furniture has been designed for straightforward DIY installation so you won’t need a mountain of tools; a tape measure, spirit level, pencil, jigsaw, and drill/driver should do the job!

Finally saw diy alcove units on Instagram and with a husband good at diy decided to go for it. Saved £££££ doing it this way and the end result is stunning and no different from getting a carpentry company making and installing. From the design process to answering queries and delivery it was an excellent service. My husband said the actual design and ease to fit was really high quality. I highly recommend this company and if we ever need more cupboards/units wouldn’t hesitate to use these guys again. Thank you!

Their product quality is outstanding, and they offer unique features that can't be found elsewhere. Our Small Victorian terrace living room has been completely transformed with their new alcove cabinets and shelves. The cabinets look great and we are thrilled. We did have a few snags but they were all sorted with professionalism and understanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this business to others. Tip- if you ask for installation make sure it’s the DIY team and not a subcontractor for the best experience.
Stephanie Cheung12/01/2023I consider DIY Alcove Cabinet’s products to be a step up from an IKEA hack and step down from fully custom since you do the installation yourself. As a relatively newbie DIY-er, I was able to follow the instructions and got some post-sale questions answered and installed these cabinets myself as well as pre-production drawings to check measurements where the gentleman was communicative and helpful. It took a day and a half in total but I am so pleased with the outcome, and for the price tag, they were at least 2/3rds cheaper than going fully custom!

The delivery was bang on time & the quality of the cabinets is great. They’re so simple to install yourself that we found it much easier than having them built/installed in situ. We’ve had so many compliments!
