DIY Alcove Cabinets Terms and Conditions
Welcome to DIY Alcove Cabinets. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Approval Process:
1.1 Initial Drawing: After placing your order, we will send you a scaled drawing in both plan and front elevation views for your approval. This drawing is provided free of charge unless the order is cancelled, in which case a £20 fee will apply.
1.2 Revisions: You may request up to three separate amended versions of the initial drawing to ensure it meets your requirements. Any changes to the measurements or design can be made up to two weeks prior to the delivery week, as specified on your invoice. This provides customer flexibility for any ongoing plastering or renovations that may affect the final measurements.
1.3 Final Approval Drawing: A final scaled drawing titled “Drawing for Final Approval” will then be emailed to you. This drawing will outline the precise measurements and features of your furniture. Please carefully review this final drawing to ensure all details are accurate. Your email confirmation will be considered your written consent to proceed with production.
1.4 Post-Approval Changes: Your email confirmation represents your final approval. If amendments are required, they must be communicated before this point. Once approval is given and production has started, no further changes can be accommodated. If you change your mind after production has commenced, replacement or duplicate parts can be provided at cost price.
1.5 Responsibility for Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure that all measurements, details, and features in the final drawing are correct before approving.
1.6 Timeline for Approval: To avoid delays in production and delivery, please review and approve the final drawing promptly.
2. Cancellation Policy:
2.1 Full Refunds: If you decide to cancel your order, we offer a full refund up to two weeks before the delivery week specified on your invoice, minus a non-refundable Stripe processing fee and a £20 charge for any scaled drawings provided.
2.2 Post-Cancellation Period: After this two-week period, work on your bespoke furniture will likely have begun, and cancellation is no longer possible.
3. Warranty Policy:
3.1 Coverage: We offer a 5-year warranty on all our furniture, starting from the date of delivery, not the installation date. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace any faulty parts at our discretion.
3.2 Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
